Recruitment fraud
People who are nothing to do with us sometimes use our name to offer positions that do not exist. We never ask candidates for money.
Last updated November 3, 2025.
What we never do
- We never charge a candidate a fee, for anything, at any stage.
- We never ask candidates to pay for training, uniforms, visas, travel, background checks or equipment.
- We never offer a position without an interview in person or by video with a named consultant.
- We never write from an address that does not end in @larchcombe.com.
- We never ask for bank details before a household has made, and you have accepted, a written offer.
Signs of a false offer
An offer of a position abroad with travel and a visa “arranged”; a salary well above anything on our roles pages; a request for a fee, a deposit or a payment to a third party; a message from a personal email address or a messaging app; a consultant whose name is not on our team page; pressure to decide quickly.
What to do
Do not pay anything. Do not send copies of your passport or other documents. Call us on (206) 014-6190 or write to candidates@larchcombe.com, and we will tell you whether the offer is ours. If you have lost money, report it to the police where you live.
